Following on from my last post I was excited to visit the Weekday store last week when it opened on 18/08. Missing the 40% off for the first 200 customers I was lucky enough to get 20% off one item by signing up to the mailing list. Of course I couldn’t leave with only one thing!
The store is comparable to other Weekday stores with an offering of Men’s, Women’s and accessories presented in a modern environment mixing wood and metal materials with an industrial feel. I feel that Weekday is on the button with genderless collections and feel many of the pieces can be worn by either men or women.
Having been a fan of the brand for a while I was excited to see that the Zeitgeist collection was available in store. If you are unfamiliar with this collection it is on offer for 1 week only in each store and offers t-shirts and totes reflecting on current events in popular culture and society. The t-shirts are produced in store and are available in limited quantities. I picked up this Self-Love t-shirt among a few other things in a bit of a frenzy on the opening day of the store. Whilst I’m still deciding about the other things I bought couldn’t resist wearing this t-shirt straight away.
Similar to my last post I visited The Mayfield Lavender Fields recently and could not recommend visiting the fields enough. Just short of an hour drive away the Lavender Field is such a pretty site to visit and of course provides a perfect backdrop to capture some amazing pictures.
